MOMO COCOA WINS 2nd GOOD FOOD AWARD
Chokola Péyi Wins Good Food Award: Drink Category
Portland, OR (April 22, 2023) – MOMO COCOA CO., makers of uniquely flavored artisan cocoa mixes, announced today that they were awarded the Good Food Award (drink category) for their Chokola Péyi cocoa mix, inspired by a traditional Haitian chocolate drink recipe.
In addition, Momo Cocoa’s Xocolátl, an homage to the original Central American chocolate drink by the same name, was a 2023 Good Food Award finalist.
This marks Momo Cocoa’s second consecutive year winning the Good Food Award, having also won in 2022 for their cardamom flavored CardaMomo cocoa mix.
The award was presented to Yvonne Fide, co-founder of Momo Cocoa by the Good Food Foundation at the Good Food Award ceremony held at Revolution Hall in Portland, Oregon on April 21, 2023. The Good Food Awards bring together leaders in the food industry throughout the United States to recognize exceptional food crafters.
